針具上黃色處為針頭的一部分，由於針頭有粗細之分，不一樣的針頭粗細會使用不一樣的顏色來方便區別，蘇貞昌院長所使用的黃色針頭為25號針頭，這是由台大醫院準備的針頭，其餘針具皆是使用中央統一配發的針具。
