機車騎到半路拋錨怎麼辦，許多民眾都會請業者或自己的朋友前來幫忙，因此路上時常看到後面的機車騎士用腳頂著前方拋錨的機車前進，藉此省去拖吊車的費用，不過其實這樣的行為不只危害交通安全，也已經觸法，有民眾就因此被開了張1萬2千元的罰單。

《道路交通管理處罰條例》43條第1項第1款「在道路上蛇行，或以其他危險方式駕車」，觸法者可處以6千元以上，2萬4千元以下的罰鍰，並當場禁止其駕駛。以繩索拉行拋錨機車的方式同樣也是違法的。
